Real World Fire Warden Training – Training Centre Hervey Bay
Why Fire Warden Training Matters
At Training Centre Hervey Bay, we believe fire safety training should be practical, realistic, and delivered by trainers who have actually worked on the frontline — not just read from a textbook.
Our lead trainer Jeremy brings over 25 years of frontline firefighting and emergency response experience, delivering real-world knowledge and hands-on training that prepares your team for real emergencies.
Businesses that fail to meet workplace fire safety requirements can face significant consequences, including fines, compliance issues, potential liability claims, and insurance complications following an emergency incident. Having properly trained Fire Wardens and Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) staff is an important part of maintaining a safe workplace and meeting your obligations under workplace safety legislation.
How Many Fire Wardens Does Your Workplace Need?
Every workplace is different, however a common guide is to have at least one trained Fire Warden for every 20 staff members onsite. Higher-risk workplaces such as industrial sites, accommodation venues, warehouses, schools, childcare centres, and larger facilities may require additional wardens depending on their workplace risk assessment and emergency procedures.
At Training Centre Hervey Bay, we can help assess your workplace requirements and tailor training to suit your business operations.
