PUAFER004 — Responding to Facility Emergencies
If you're an occupant required to be 'emergency aware' in a facility, this course is for you. You'll learn how to recognise and respond to emergency situations in your workplace, understand evacuation procedures, and know your role when an emergency occurs.
PUAFER005 — Fire Warden Training
Designed for individuals required to implement an emergency response in their workplace. This course prepares you to take on the role of fire warden — managing evacuations, assisting with firefighting efforts, and ensuring everyone's safety during a fire emergency. You'll also cover fire risk assessments and how to identify potential hazards in the workplace before they become emergencies.
PUAFER006 — Chief Warden Training
This course applies to individuals who may be required to make decisions about the safety of occupants during a fire emergency. Chief wardens lead the Emergency Control Organisation and are responsible for coordinating the response, communicating with emergency services, and ensuring all wardens are carrying out their roles effectively.
This course teaches you how to correctly use a fire extinguisher in an emergency. Hands-on training includes the PASS method — Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep — so you can act with confidence when it matters most. You'll also learn how to maintain and inspect fire extinguishers to ensure they're ready when needed.
